irrigation system for avocados
The aim is to ensure our farmers gets better returns on investment by acquiring reliable
drip button irrigation system with quality seedlings
About the Avocado seedlings
- Grafted Hass variety
- 150 seedlings provided
- They are to be planted in a 5m by 5m spacing
- Seedlings are 5 months old
- They take 3 years to mature
- Nutrition program is provided
About the Drip Irrigation System
Comprises of:
- Hdpe main pipe 50mm – 100 meters + fittings
- HDPE 16mm pipes – 900 meters
- Filtration unit 50mm – 1 piece
- Adjustable Drip Buttons – 150 pieces
- Venturi system – (Fertilizer injector)
- Installation and training
Points to note:
- We DON’T provide market for the avocados after maturity
- We DON’T provide water tanks in the irrigation system
- We DON’T provide transport of material from our offices in Nairobi
